"So today I went shopping and for the first time in my life I am a size 6! I even bought a new winter coat and it's a size small. It was so weird. I find I have a hard time in general seeing the changes, but this really hammered it home. I'm not chubby anymore. Never again will I need a size 10 - or a size 12 when it's the dead of winter and pasta is all I care about. It felt really good and I was also happy to get some new clothes. I hate everything in my closet right now because it all fits so badly. It sucks to know that your body is buff, but that the baggy jeans and tops suggest otherwise. Anyways, I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the postings. I don't always add to all of the threads I read, but I keep track and take bits of advice here and there so I feel really indebted to everybody. Another five pounds to go!" |
